The Japanese cherry blossom festival celebrating the Sakura bloom at the Givat Ram Botanical Garden in Jerusalem will take place this upcoming weekend.

In Japan, crowds wait all year long for the famous blooming days, the “Sakura,” which lasts only 10 days and symbolizes the beautiful yet elusive and transient nature of spring. During this time of year, Japanese people traditionally go out to parks to experience and celebrate the cherry tree blossoming.

The Givat Ram Botanical Garden in Jerusalem is colored for a limited time in enchanting pink, and it’s time to go out and celebrate the Sakura and cherry blossom in Israel.
