Thai Hostage’s Body Recovered from Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has recovered the body of Thai hostage Nattapong Pinta from southern Gaza’s Rafah area. This development comes as part of ongoing military operations in the region, where Israeli forces continue to work to locate and recover hostages taken during the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attacks.

Nattapong Pinta was one of several Thai agricultural workers who were taken hostage during the initial attack. His recovery brings closure to his family and the Thai community, though it underscores the tragic human cost of Hamas’s terrorism.

The Thai government has been actively involved in efforts to secure the release of its citizens held in Gaza, with this recovery marking another step in the process of accounting for all Thai nationals affected by the crisis.

We remember Nattapong Pinta and all victims of Hamas terrorism.
