Mochikva Says Goodbye: Why We Are Closing the Store?

We are closing our store, and we’re getting a lot of questions why, so I’m here to explain.

Since September, we’ve seen a steady decline in the number of visitors. Maintaining a store in Tel Aviv is not easy – rent, raw materials, time – and when there aren’t enough customers, it’s simply impossible to continue.

The last year has been particularly difficult: the war, the rising cost of living, no tourists – all these have affected everyone, including us. We did everything we could to hold on, but unfortunately, we cannot continue this way.

We always tried to maintain fair prices, even though everything we sell is handmade, with time, attention, and love. But love doesn’t cover the expenses – and that’s a hard truth we had to accept.

We know that Ben Yehuda is not the most convenient location. And maybe we should have asked for your help sooner, but it’s very hard to be vulnerable. But the truth is, we’ve been struggling for quite some time.

And with all that, We have 18 more days left!

We will be open. We will be well-stocked. We will be ready. Come. Say hello. Help us make these last days sweet. We’d love to see you.

With love, Mochikva
