Koko Neko is a traditional Japanese ramen bar in Tel Aviv’s Florentin neighborhood, created by a collaboration between Dudi Afriat and Japanese chef Misato Becher. The compact restaurant features an authentic izakaya atmosphere with wooden stools, paper lanterns, and a mostly Japanese kitchen team greeting guests with “Irasshaimase.”
The menu focuses on three ramen varieties – tonkotsu, shio, and tori paitan (68-72 NIS) – alongside handcrafted gyoza and Instagram-worthy Japanese souffle pancakes. Customizable spice levels and meticulous preparation make every bowl stand out. Expect a wait of over an hour due to its massive popularity.
